Q: See Question in the title. I will later some of my own benchmarks, but I want a general answer to this as possible.
Computer is mainly used for gaming.

Which core does your CPU have? Venice and San Diego should be able to handle 4 dimms at 400mhz DDR@2T, older cores at 333mhz 2T, but since the memory conroller is on the CPU you are putting more strain on the CPU with 4 dimms, seems to limit the overclock in a lot of cases over using 2 dimms.
Ah, I see. So the prescence of 4 dimms is lowering my OCing capabilities? It's a venice core. I used to get 2.7 ghz on it, now I'm having trouble getting 2.2.

Re:I have the same problem. When I have 4 dimms in I can go up to 300+FSB but the mem divider has to drop all the way down to 120, even using 2T
edit:
This is using a set of Corsair XMS and another set of PQI Turbo. should run ddr400 easy at CAS 2.5, but wont.
Re:Bump. Anyone have a solution to this problem?
