Annoying IE6 problem. Some help! [tiny box] [tools internet]

Q: Just started happening. When I click on a link the page opens as a small box that I always to maximize. I looked around for a way to reset it as in “Tools / Internet Options”, but not a solution. Maybe a reg entry? Help. Im running XP RC2.

Re:Glad it worked. This isn't an XP issue. This is how all the IE browsers work (by expanding the window to set the size of future window openings).

Re:Thanks! Got it to work correctly by resizing the shrunken page and closing it, rather than hitting the maximize button. You guys are great. I love this forum! These little things you can't figure out can drive you nuts. Agreed that XP is a beta w/ expected bugs, but one might argue that all Microsoft releases are betas with subsequent ongoing patches some of which they make you pay for (e.g., win98se);)

Re:De-Maximize your current window. It should shrink to the small size. Resize it to the size you like, and close it.
re-open IE, and all new windows should open up to the newly specified size.

Sorry if I'm thinking of the wrong problem.

Re:Did you try just expanding the window from the lower right hand corner to the size you want? That should set the size of the page for you for future instances of the browser opening. (You're dragging the right hand corner of the tiny browswer window and expanding it to the size you want, then releasing the mouse button).

Re:realize you are running a non production program still, and some bugs are still present.
