Q: I tried to install win98se on D drive (C has XP), but could t.
D drive is used with XP, I formatted with Fat32.
I saw the FAQ about this type of installation, but could not make it work.
Ill valued for a detailed explanation on how to do it, or a link.: D
I have 3 to 5 partitions.
C HDS and E are secondarey IDE master, D, E and F are channels.
C promise ATA100, F and G are NTFS and D and E are fat32.

Well, fdisk can wipe the old partition table and then format a new FAT32 partition. That's not exactly the same as formatting the NTFS partition, but it'll do what you need it to do.

if you're serious about dual booting, suggest you start from scratch installing win98 first on C the install xp!
