Q: I want to clean house Windows XP, but I can not find the case so I do not have the key. It is a simple thin plastic sleeve that the University of Texas at WinXP sold me for 5 USD lost: P. Is there a way to find the key? Is it in the registry or something?
Re:I save all my keys in a file so they're all in the same place and I won't lose them… unless my computer explodes.

i usually write the product key on the CD itself. hard to lose it that way, unless you lose the CD itself
