Q: As the title says: “Anyone know where to get inexpensive CAT5 cable!”
I heard that a few sites that sell inexpensive CAT5 cables. Since I am in the market I will find cables for 4-6 and the size does not matter. Im not looking for someone to sell on AT forums (although it would be easier), but Im just looking for a link.
Thanks,
Mitch

Re:If you're going to buy cables this place has some good prices. Found them at pricewatch, but I have never ordered anything from them.

Re:Thanks Bro.. I will have to find someone who has a crimper at work and burrow it.

Re:The cheapest way to go is making your own. Go to your local electronics store, buy the cable for around $0.04 a foot, the RJ-45 plugs for $0.99 for 8, and a RJ-45 crimper tool for as low as $11. If you are constantly making these, you can save a lot of money. On average you can make a 25' Cat5(e) cable, even with jack boots, for around $1.20.

As for a site that sells cheap cables, that's really a double edged sword. Yes, you could find cables dirt cheap, but how far is it, and how much will shipping be?
