Anyone know where you can buy anti-glare layer? (For monitors) [borderfree] [windex]

Q: I do not know if you still can, but someone told me monitors come with this stuff and like and rub it off . They should ship within the U.S. ( makes no customs and I can only order from sites in the U.S.:))

Re:guy.

There is mat spray that you can find in Art supply store.

I will not use it on Monitors.

Re:are there no liquid anti-reflective sprays? there's a framed picture in my dining room that i'd like to apply it to…

Having used one of those in an office, I can say that the really cheap ones are horrible. The reason it blocks off glare is because you can barely see through the damn thing!

Re:3m makes some really nice anti-glare monitor cover thingies. I have one for a 17 inch monitor somewhere around here (too bad I don't have a 17 inch monitor…)

They are expenive (80ish) but they usually fit well and are made of polarized plated glass…

Anyone know the URL?

You can find them in local computer stores.

Re:Why don't you get anti reflective coating on a pair of glasses? I think that would probably reduce the glare

Re:Well damn, thats true… well I guess I can wait to save up for a new monitor… :(

Re:Well if they did it'd be hell to apply (has to be even).
