Re:I believe if you go into a folder – go to tools, folder options, then unclick "Use SImple File Sharing" or something like that – then you will be able to use further security items.

It maybe that this is a bit complicated, or you don't want to use multiple seperate user names on your PC – if that's the case then there are dozens of security programs (some better than others). However, this is a built-in feature and it saves installing another program.
