Q: Im going to spend four days on my GF and I want to play HL2. My brother seems to think that it is impossible to play the game on another PC while it is still installed on mine on my home.
Ire not sure how Steam would know, but is it possible?

Re:Yup. You can log in to your Steam account from any machine and play HL2/CS etc. But only one at a time.
It's not tied to a computer, just an account.
