Q: Any problems with this card?
If I will buy this card, I use it mainly for 2D applications, a number of CAD / OpenGL stuff, and occasionally a game.
Is there anyone here who has both the multi-monitor used cards from Maxtor and Hydra Vision? What is the best in your opinion?
Any other comments? ![]()

That's good news, since I'm using a Voodoo III 3000 now.
Re:I have a 7500, but i don't use it with two monitors. The only issue i've encountered is with Counterstrike
and the ATI overflow issue, but they have a patch out for that. Other than that, I'm playing games such as RTCW
at 1280X768 with all graphics and sound options maxed and it runs good; I have yet to see a noticeable drop in
framerates at any time in the game. I'm running it with an AMD 1600+ and
a kx-266a mobo with 256megs of ram.
The 2-D is excellent, i upgraded from a V-3 3500 and the 2d is much better.

Re:The guy that lives across the hall was using a Radeon to run his Dual monitors. It was quite nice, had a great interface to help with any configuration you can think of with the 2 monitors.
Re:Someone here must be using a Radeon card in a dual-monitor configuration…

The Matrox cards do not have very good 3D-performance. The nVidia cards are overpriced.
Seems like ATI is the only choice ![]()

Re:I'm interested as well. I'm looking into getting a multi-monitor card for my server, one that has decent gaming performance. Any suggestions?
