Nine times out of ten this problem (when it occurs with onboard sound) is due to the mini plug not being inserted all the way into the jack. Sometimes the backplate is a few mm away from the jack causing the plug not to go in all the way.
I would think that too, except it sounds like he didn't change that at all. Certainly could have gotten bumped though.

Re:Just to be 100% sure it's the onboard sound, try plugging the speakers into a CD player or MP3 player or something and make sure both speaker work.
Re:Your onboard sound is broken. My Asus A7N8X did the same thing to me.
Re:oh ya.. sure.. in the mean time, is there anything that i can do to make this speaker work?

Meaning, those sweet speakers deserve a dedicated sound card.

Get rid of the non working speaker and move the working one in the middle of your desk? ![]()

Re:Klipsch speakers with "onboard" audio? Tell me it's not so!
Re:did that already before i even posted. i even connected the speaker to my laptop to make sure that it's not the speakers thats causing the problem.

B. The cable connector is pulled loose.
