Q: I just received my Dell Axim X50v and all last night trying to connect to my Netgear router (mr814v or something similar). I could access the list (uses MAC addresses) and correctly filled out my Axims MAC address (the router “see” the Dell Axim and vice versa) 0.
I was not able to connect to the Internet. I removed all restrictions on the router and still was unsuccessful. at that point, I thought something was wrong with my Axim. However, when I went to work, recognized the wireless network immediately. Im going to test the Axim weather to continue in the City Hall Park (which has free Wi-Fi). Im sure it will work.
SO . it seems there is something wrong with my Netgear router. any and all help would be appreciated!
thanks. – Ronnie.

Do a hard Reset on the router so everything is set back to default, ususally a reset on the back with a paper click for 15 sec will do it.
