Belkin F5D7230-4 vs. Netgear WGT624? [belkin f5d7230 4] [netgear wgt624]

Q: Both the Belkin F5D7230-4 and . which is better? Ive noticed that the Netgear WAY back down on their guarantee this product to 1 years. Belkin has a lifetime warranty. Netgear 802.11g 108Mbps but the turbo mode now . Does anyone have any experience with these Products? A deal with interference better than the other, or get a better effective throughput?

I have no idea who currently makes the Belkin products, normally the lowest bid from one of the many nameless (at least to me) Chinese firms.

I can't say for sure about the units themselves, but I think the techsupport is based out of India. I would have assumed that Belkin is good… I have one, and I know the KVM switches are unsurpassed.

Re:SMC also advertises SPI, you might want to look at some of their stuff…

Re:Usually I haven't liked D-Link products but how is the latest version of the 802.11g products??…. The only reason I am trying to choose between Belkin and Netgear is because they include SPI and NAT firewalls. DLink and Linksys usually have just NAT. Also I have heard there is a firmware update for the DLink that ups it to the 108mbps spec.

Re:i have the netgear model wgt614. from reading the specs the difference seems to be the turbo mode.

as i'm using all b adapters that wasn't an issue for me.

Since Belkin is a repackager, and their product manufacturer changes regularly, I generally advise avoiding them as a rule.

!!?? Who is the packager for the current unit of theirs?
