Q: Im just wondering what kind of Geforce 3 cards to buy for everyone. Ive looked at the VisionTek and Gainward cards. GamePC was the OC at Gainward 235/535, someone has seen a good stability in this map or any other at this speed. It seems that the only factor in comparing the current Geforce 3 cards is the ability and extra addons overclocking.

Re:Gainward guarntees stability at an overclocked speed. If it isn't stable send it to them they will send you a new one. Also the red PCB is pretty sweet. HardOCP had a link to a review of 7 different geforce 3's they put the ASUS v8200 Deluxe in first and the Gainward in second. Look in archives cause i think it was posted early tuesday/late monday. Lots of good information there. I would go with gainward if I had the dough.

I say if you can affor it then go for it man, the best out there right now. Youo should learn from the past……..if you wait 6 months, till the GF3 is $200, by then the GF4 will be out with probably better speed and quality, say for $400, people will tell you to wait till its cheaper….. you could go on for ever….just look back at the past years.
