Q: I can not get my tbred who just got to start today in Windows 1.5. I tried 1.65 and I booted from that moment, but it didnt boot from 1.65 previously. It works just fine on 1.75, but when I try at all, hardly ever posts overclocking. At 138 FSB, item is scarce. I have a Corsair XMS EPoX 8k5a2 and 3200 (or XMS 3000, or by her death at 138 FSB). I ran fine on an xp 1600 Pally 140 FSB (one of the Othe 0.18 ones and Beauty around 140). I think the only question would be my diet that is only a 250W Antec PP253X be one, but still, it ran my xp 1600 to 1.75V i dont see what the problem is with the 1700 at 1.5V.

Re:I bet your heatsink is not seated properly. I had the exact same problem once. What are your temps like?
Re:my winbond HWM won't see the 3.3v line correctly either. it's correct in the bios @ 3.33v, but HWM see's 1.5v. I think it has something to do with setting the AGP to 4X or something.
Re:not a better one, but whatever. i've been meaning to get a new ps for a long time now anyways. It runs fine at stock anyways so its not too much of an issue. thanks for your help.
Re:ur 3.3v is at 1.5v?? that can't be right, can it? hmm…after clearing cmos and using defaults it won't boot? i would have guessed the ps too, but if it ran the xp1600 at 1.75, it should do fine with the tbred. do you have an extra ps or can borrow one to try out?
Re:yea i noticed a problem with the 3.3 line as its at 1.5 V. 12 is at 12.16V. I'm pretty much inclinded to getting a new PS. Kinda odd tho that my 1600 worked fine with 3.3 so low.
