Unique and super effective core training, build a strong core fast!
Re:case is a personal preference. Generally I just pick something that has at least 1 intake and at least 1 exhaust fan (but don't really need more than that), 120mm fans, removable motherboard tray, and something that provides a bit of cooling for hard drives, something that isn't too flashy, I still prefer the power supply to go on the top not the bottom, and I like something that has plenty of good external i/o ports.

These days you have to get a case that is big enough to accommodate those longer video cards.

for me the case I picked in my signature met all these requirements and then some.

just don't spend too much on a case, and don't go just on positive reviews. I think the negative reviews are far more important to look at. in reality, the case is just holding everything together, it's not going to make your computer break down unless it's a piece of crap. so, picking something that is easy to work with makes your life easier.

Re:Antec P182 is another common recommendation, along with some of the Cooler Master 590/690 series.
You won't gain much or anything getting a Quad Core for gaming.
Vista 64-bit. 32-bit OSes will only see 3.25GB or so. That's 800MB you paid for that you won't be getting.
I say get different RAM. Crucial is a bit overpriced unless rebates come with it.
Overall, a good solid system.

Re:Thanks wired.
I will definitely switch the HD to WD 640GB.
What other cases would you recommend?
What about CPUs should I consider the Quad cores (ie. Q9450 or Q6600)? Will I see a performance gain with this while gaming?
And what about operating system? Which one should I use to get my system to run at full potential?

Re:Looks pretty much fine to me.

The RAM could be had for a few bucks less.

I would consider replacing the HD with a WD 640GB version (a bit faster). Other than that, I think that looks like an excellent gaming rig.

The PSU is a little overkill, but it won't hurt anything.

I would look at some other cases, the antec 900 is way overrated IMO. Way too many fans for no good reason except being a dust magnet… although there's nothing specifically WRONG with the 900.

Prepare to have people come in and talk trash about SLI, but I wouldn't pay them any mind… SLI with 2 GPUs is very good these days.
