Re:I think that it is a yamaha internal cdrom in an external drive-bay made by Plextor that hooks up via SCSI-2? Back picture isn't that clear. You can probably remove the drive from the cartridge, and check to see if it is a SCSI or EIDE cdrom drive.

it's a cdrw, and it looks like that's not what the picture is trying to show…
the cdrw looks like it's in a wanna-be-mobile rack for rom devices…i don't think that particular drive is mobile (but it is in that rack – if u consider that mobile since it's bitter than the drive itself)
i could be wrong…look at the power/data connectors at the back thoough..
Re:haha i know its a cdrom…but can i get a more detailed description? do i call it internal yamaha/external plextor or external plextor? im putting it up for sale soon but i dont know how to describe it. thanks
