Re:you are having encryptions/authentication issues

Doublecheck you WEP keys (make sure you are set to HEX on both, or ASCII on both). If all else fails, open it up (no wep) to make sure your hardware is working. Usually the no IP means that you associated, but are not authenticated.

Re:The computer that is having problems is the only computer trying to connect to the network wirelessly. I have one computer connected by wire. The netgear is set to require a WEP password, and I've set the computer that is trying to connect wirelessly to give the network a password. The computer that is connected by wire doesn't have any sort of password. This is the setup I've had since the beginning of my post but I'm still having the same problem.

Re:Actually you have it backwards. It sounds like the client is associating to the AP but not hitting the IP network. MAC filtering is out there but your on the right trail with Encryption. Lorkp, if you click the network icon in the taskbar are you getting packets received but not sent?

Re:Are you using wep/wpa or mac security, has it actually associated to the network, is dhcp running withing the network?
It sounds like it is finding the network but not associating, that could be the issue.
