Q: not updating Im different from a Windows update recently. I went by IE settings and they seem correct. My PC is upstairs OK. I compared all the settings but still can not see the problem. I am able to bring Thie site log in and click on one of the forums, but when I want to start a new message or to answer someones comment I click on the appropriate link and nothing happens. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
Re:Well, I tried everything I could think of with IE and still no luck! I downloaded Mozilla and still no luck!, I downloaded MS java and reinstalled, still no luck. Then when trying Mozilla I downloaded flash and installed it. After the install I was able to work properly in AnandTech in both IE and Mozilla. Weird because I had flash before, I am guessing when I did my last Microslop update it did something to flash. Thanks for all the help everyone!!
Re:I think that it has to be Microcrap. My system was fine untill I did the Windows update. There were several security patches for IE. Will see if I can resolve issue! Thanks everyone!
Re:what browser are you using? it sounds like iether a java problem or a popup blocker problem try reinstalling java and see if that helps also the latest auto updates from microhore are likely to cause problems i would try a different browser and see if that does it also.
Re:I have Norton Internet Security and everything was working fine untill yesterday or the day before. No pop up blocker.
