Q: I was installing a wireless PCI card in my computer (Antec True Power 380W PS, Athlon 64 3200 +, Athlon 64 3200 +, ASUS K8V Deluxe, 2 x 512MB PC3200 OCZ Platinum EL) with the power cable when all the sudden the fans turned on for about half a second. I immediately got the dreaded electrical burning smell smoke. Now, I was not even touching anything but the screwdriver at the time – turning the screw – and I myself on the first floor. So I doubt if it was me.

Q: Heres the situation:
My friend who build systems all the time, and I decided to join a computer for me about 10 months ago. We plugged everything together, it worked and I was a proud father. I loved my system and I took care of her. Everything was great until this morning when she would not be enabled.
Now I discovered that the power had gone during the night since the microwave and other appliances blinking 12:00. My power bar does not have a switch flipped though. C

Q: Heres what happened. I got this disc about a month or two ago, and when I first got, I left on Win2k, and I was able to install fine. Then I started using a number of Linux distros, and was not able to fully supported my hardware the way I wanted to find. So I decided to go back to Windows 2k. Q: Im running XP Pro. I have 3! in the Device Manager. These are an old Intel Wireless Base Station, the wireless mouse and wireless keyboard. If I have three! from the device manager they come right back the next time I turn the computer. What happens is that the hardware wizard appears and says she is unable to install the device, and it does it 3 times. How can I stop or get rid of those drivers who try to load every time I turn on my computer.

Q: I bought a new case, power supply, DVD burner, Radeon 850xt.
Installed everything and the computer wouldnt boot, wont even post or beep. After a dozen attempts I unhooked everything except the motherboard, CPU, RAM, video card, power supply and have still not boot, beep or post.
