Q: I want to build a box to play around with overclocking. Antec NSK2400 case, a temporary one with 380W ATX12V v2.0 power supply. No special features required. There is 380W enough for overclocking, along with a DVD HDD u0026?

Q: How does HDs connected to an ATA card to compare it directly conected to a mobo?
Right now I have an ATA card connected to one of my HDs and two other hard drives connected to the IDE of the mobo. I was wondering if there is any impact on CPU performance, or HD speed comparison between an ATA card and IDE on the mobo.

Normally I would agree with you 100% and in the past I've always done that…that is always buy new stuff and I may again. That's just an option but I'll have to see what Corsair offers in [...]

Q: May u0026quot 5.25, with two 3.5 u0026quot, or only seven external bays u0026quot 5.25; external bays (and no need for 3.5 u0026quot; bays)
Im thinking of using HD coolers in April 1 RAID5 array unit would require the external bays for each station. I had no need for internal drive bay space.
Does such a beast exist? Name-brand?

Q: I just noticed (by a thread over at ChubbyBillfold on a P4 1.5GHz processor someone + motherboard on the market to offer a P3 1Ghz processor or 933) that the 933 P3, 1GHz / 133Mhz processors are very expensive. They go for over $ 300 on each eBay.
Can someone tell me why? Is there anything special about them? Yeah, sure, they can be overclocked. But for much less money you can P4u003e 2Ghz . I can not believe they are overclocked to such speeds .

Q: I have a Lite-On 52×24x52 CD-RW drive that I bought . hmm . one year and half or two years ago. i didnt have any problems with it until 2 or 3 weeks ago. Now, at least half of the disks i dont try to work to burn. Nero breaks at somewhere between 6-8% in the burning process, and at that point the station begins a process of stopping the spin, then spin up, stop, spin, etc. If everything is ready, nero gives me an error either say “Power Calibration Error” or “Write Error” 0.

Q: I have a Mini-ITX mobo that says it supports Pentium 4 chips and P4 Mobile, Socket 478, to 3.06 GHz. Is there an advantage in speed compared with going with one another? I know that the Pentium 4 Mobile 12W runs cooler, but thats not much of a desire to me.
Update: This (http://www.ibase-i.com.tw/mb850.htm) is the advice I am used. It says that it supports P4s cache to 512K, one reason why it should not support the 1M version 3.06-GHz P4?
TIA,
guy

Re:I think I prob brought this on myself. I should have left my system alone and been happy with the 2 IDE drives I had.
