Q: The “Show volume icon in the taskbar” is checked. But, I experience an error on this icon will appear during my first run of the day. To set the icon to appear, I have the box, click Apply, check and uncheck the box then click OK. I am the administrator and sole user of my machine. It is password protected. Q: I try to boot to DOS FDISK, so I can see my hard drive but can not seem to boot from floppy, even though it is set to boot from A, C, SCSI.
I m running Mandrake 9.1 to get. It simply means the Linux boot loader.
I get this: Error: 0×40
The above problem is now solved, but I can not get rid of this conflict IDE I got after loading the default settings in my boot BIOS.
I can now load Windows, but I have to keep F1 bypass this error message from expressing

Q: Ok, I have some old PCs with Windows 95 and I want the OS to switch to 98. My question is how can I erase everything from the hard disk, so all I have with the new system is 98. It is also possible to keep the drivers for my CD-ROM, or will they be removed?

Q: Hello all, just upgraded my Mandrake machine
I 9.0 to 9.1. One of the great opportunities that I saw in OS 9.1 was cross printer sharing. I do not have a way to do this yet.

Q: I have Win98SE and XP installed in dual boot. Win98 is on C: and XP on D:. I want to install Linux on E: and I want a boot menu where I could choose between these three operating systems. All partizions, FAT32 and I dont want to change tha, because I want all partitions w / all OSes.
You access should also know that I am a Linux n00b. I especially nred Linux to learn, because Ive needed for uni.
