Q: Hi guys, quick
Another rtegards question customizing the desktop of Windows XP SP2 RC2.
I I try to change the font and color of my desktop icon names (or even completely remove the title change!) But Im not very lucky.
Does Windows XP have a built-in editor that allows you to do these mods, or do you D / L a third-party program like TweakUI or Style XP to do this? 0.

Re:It must not work for Xp Style… because the color dropdown is disabled.

This works for me. I'm able to change the colors using this.

I was about to post this question about changing the font color.
If I Google for changing the Font color in Xp, it pretty much says you can't do it. It seems like its controlled by the background color, which I don't think is totally true. I change my background color to white and it will change it to black font..*IF* and when I don't have a wallpaper displayed. When I enable a white wallpaper the fonts go back to white with shadows. It sux.
anyone have any ideas?

The problem I have is that with Windows XP, I can't seem to be able to choose the font color using that method! I can change the font type/size/bold/italic, but no color option, weird.
Do you think that TweakUI would help here?
