Q: computer hang at “Setup is inspecting your hardware configuration of your computer – just waiting for hour (s) – then for the first time in this I get two beeps – the motherboard is a kt7a raid. I tried to install from a boot disk (s) and I still get the same errors. I had win98se works fine but I decieded to format about to dispose of what looked like a ton of viruses (none of the AV programs was slightly off) each 0.

press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver and load your Raid Drivers.

Re:RAM, check your RAM. Ran into a the same problem a couple months ago on a friends machine. Turned out to be bad, horrible RAM.

Re:Remove everything you don't need to install Win2k. Strip it down to the MB, Processor, RAM, HD, CD-ROM, and Video card and try to install then. If it works then some of your other hardware isn't compatible with Win2k. Check the Windows HCL Site (http://www.microsoft.com/hcl/) and make sure all your hardware is compatible with Win2k or XP.
