Q: I wanted to try out CSS. I have not played before. Every game I try to join I get kicked. Why do I get kicked? And not even give me a reason for his kicked. I have not been able to 1 seconds of game play yet.
Best Answer: Try to download a big file ie, one which takes more than 20 mins. if you can download it without any problem, ur connection is ok.
Then it is possibly ur game server problem.
Try other online gaming sites to see u have the same problem with them also.
Re:You can try doing this. Log out of steam. Close steam. Delete the client.blob file. Restart steam. Log back in and let steam update itself again. I had a similar problem a while back and this fixed it for me.

Re:one of the reasons I haven't bother with CS in a while. Its to much like work trying to find a decent server. The ones I do find thats good I end up getting banned on because they are sore losers(Rogue Squadron server comes to mind) and think I hack. All because I sometimes do real good.
I been playing off/on since CS beta back in the day so I have no need to hack.
Re:Your files may have been corrupted if your map differed from mine.
open the games window from your taskbar
goto my games
right click on counter strike source and go to properties
local files – verify integrity of game cache

Re:I remember having an issue just like this before, well I had several different across time, this one sticks out.
Lets try this, when you log out of Steam, log in using a fake name with password, then log back in using your account. If you want, toss in reboots between logging out and fake logging in, over kill I bet, but hey, why not?
Sorry, I can't remember on how I fixed it when it happened to me. 
You 100% sure the console isn't generating an error after you get kicked?
Re:delete all the maps you have… as they're not right obviously, then delete the client.blob file that's in the steam folder (somewhere)
Log in again and try it. If you're still having problems then this is a really odd one. Haven't heard of this before.

Check the players on the servers, look for "-1"
