CPU Overclocking results are not downloaded from the Internet? [cpu results] [network experts]

Q: u0026amp Guys, Gals network of experts

One my P3 100Mhz computers with 600 MHz FSB at the shows this symptom. They will refuse to download from the Internet when I overclock the P3 672Mhz on by raising the FSB 112Mhz clock. Internet Explorer searches everything was fine, just not download. It just hangs there for a while then report back to the download site is not available. Each download each application shows the same problem (Napster, AOL, GetRight . you name it). All other operations are working well, only the download does not work. If I reduce the FSB to the normal range then everything works. My network connection to the Internet through a Linksys 10/100 Ethernet Adapter to an SBC Barricade router u0026amp, a cable modem. Here is my system spec

P3 600Mhz
LuckyStar 440BX Motherboard
196Mb @ 100Mhz DRAM 10/100TX PCI Ethernet Adapter FSB
Linksys SCSI card
Advansys ultrawideband for Yamaha CDRW-6×4x16x u003c This also shows one of the errors when burning CDs overclocking
3dfx 2000 PCI graphics card
Seagate 13GB

u0026amp; I The latest Intel IDE driver, it looks like the 2.8 Beta.

Does @ 112Mhz FSB blew the PCI timing? I would appreciate any hint so I can debug issue.
TIA

Re:I had that problem. It was the nic. I bought an expensive one(70 dollars) from catc and it could handle high pci speeds bacause it is USB.

Re:Hi,
Another brand NIC will probably fix your problem. I have 2 linksys NIC's and neither can handle a increased bus speed.
