Q: Im half from the first interview and I found that they were looking for someone who knew a little about how to install / maintain Unix. Now I am a tech support guy in a Windows / Novell environment, so I know computers well, but the only knowledge I have of Unix would be from the few times iv dabbled with LINUX.
Need be refreshed on the basis a UNIX

Re:If it's Unix TM it's probably Solaris, HP-UX, or AIX. Solris is pretty easy to learn. You can pickup hardware on ebay for a song.

Oh, dont know. They just were asking if i knew how to install it or ever used it.
the company creates systems for electrical companies and sometimes uses unix as the OS, so i'm assuming just install and setup of general UNIX.
