Q: Rumor has it that the great game Phantasmagoria, circa 1996 or so, was released on the Sega Saturn and the Mac. Got me hunting for a friend to see if it really true. Anyone with some info on this?
Best Answer: The newest Mac Mini was released on March 3, 2009.
If you want to buy a Mac Mini, you should buy it now because there wont be any updates in a while, and if there are any updates it will be minor spec boosts to the RAM, hard drive, and the processor.
The new Mac Mini now comes with a Nvidia Geforce 9400m graphics chip which is far superior to to the intel GMA 950 in the previous generation mac mini, but it is still integrated.

I'm fairly sure it made it to the Mac, don't know about the Saturn. I kind of doubt it considering the themes, and content of the game.
It was a horror themed game, full motion video. Involved a husband and a wife moving into an old house where a magician conjured a demon which drove him insane and caused him to murder several wives. It was a pretty cool game for its time. I'd like to be able to find it again for the PC, but I haven't seen it for a while.
i threw it out a few weekss ago.. if i still had it, i would have sent it to you.
Re:A quick search for "Phantasmagoria macintosh" ends all doubts… Apparently there was a Mac version which had 7 CDs and which ran both on 68k an PPC hardware.

Re:It came out in Japan (http://www.mobygames.com/game/saturn/roberta-williams-phantasmagoria) for the saturn, but I can't find any reference to anything on a computer besides a dos/windows platform.
