Q: Hi guys I would like to inform you about my problem on my ECS G556E Notebook.
i am working conditions AC with my battery charged at 100%. After a number of on-off cycles (say my laptop off after calling one day, then run back home when I returned to work to achieve), or even after 12 hours or so without turning, when I turn it on I noticed that my battery status is 99%. Please note that I never had switched to battery mode when the change in the level of the battery occurred.
the decrease does not stabilize at 99%, but remained at reducing (after a number of on-off cycles or 12 hours when off, the same operations as mentioned above), given that my laptop is only 3 months old. (
what can be the problem? Help! Your answers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in anticipation!

Re:for new ones yes. older ones with ni-cad batteries constantly trick charged but the new li-ion batteries are very smart and so are the charging circuts. they wont allow you to over charge the battery which is very bad for it.

when youre on ac power the battery is not always being charged (its bad for it) when its at 100% the notebook stops charging it. when the battery self discharges to a point the notebook charges it back to 100%

hi guy!
the battery drops to 99% after one of the following scenarios:
– i work for a long time under AC conditions and my battery is charged 100%. when i turn it on the next day, it is already 99% after booting to my OS (as indicated by the power meter).
– i do not use my laptop for about a day or two, with the battery fully charged at 100%, then when i turn it on, it is already 99% after booting to my OS (as indicated by the power meter).
and the same cycle goes (as stated by the situations above) and my battery drops 1% in battery charge even when working under AC conditions.
please take note that i never worked under batter conditions. thanks for the response!
