Q: Help
Somehow this site hijacked my browser. It pushes my home page entry in my IE setup. If I change this, he returns when I reboot. Then I stopped browsing EVERY time I click on a link to something opens a pop-up asking me to go to porn! When I ignore the popup and let him sit behind the browser, so I do not keep closing the window stopped, it starts to try to get some porn software. When I click “no download”, it brings me into a loop, where the window is reopened and Im stuck in an infinite loop.
How do I get rid of this? Where is it assumed that it is my home page every time I reboot always something different and is equipped with it? I do not see anything unusual in my task list. Anyone seen this?

Re:Run adaware, spybot and antivirus, let it clean it all out. Then check your msconfig startup….I've had them hide there all the time, and adaware and spybot and norton do not alter the startup, do i would be clean, reboot, and it would be back again. Also, there are tons of browser hijack remover tools out there and many are discussed elsewhere in the forums

Re:A few months ago, I had a similar or maybe the same problem. In my case the registry had many entrees of ?iefeature?. I deleted all such entrees. I may have also deleted all files with that as part of the file name, but can?t recall. In any case it did the trick. I think I got the info from Trend, they called it a trojan if I remember. Do a search on the Trend site for "iefeatures". I don't think any anti-virus program will delete it as it's semi-legal.

Go to Trendmicro.com and run the free online scan and it should catch that rascal of a virus you got going on there.
