Re:Well im not sure if i should be answering your question, im not a "geek" in the field of programming. But i play from time to time and it feels smooth, i avg 50-60fps constant with a 6800ultra all details high, ping is good, interface is clean and easy, and server lists refresh faster than any game ive ever seen, ever since the last patch. I guess you dont happen to own the game..but its basically Q2 with upped gfx and a little more flash.

Re:Guys its not gonna be that demanding…its a heavily modified doom3 engine. Doom 3 and Q4 both had breathtaking player models, and machinery, the enviroments were pretty drab which looks like the only thing gfx wise that is noticeably better. The explosion effect is pretty impressive but nothing never seen before. The engine probably carries off from the upgrades to the q4 engine and adds the megatexture feature to allow gigantic landscapes and a couple tweaks to the enviroment. Dont get me wrong folks its a great looking game, but it doesnt look like anything that will require next-gen requirements, like crysis or the unreal 3 engine. Its got a HUGE similarity to its previous brothers on the D3 engine, just look a little closer. I would probably expect slightly higher system requirements probably in the memory department, mostly because of its larger area and more players on screen action.
