Re:It's well known that the defrag tool with Win2k and XP is provided by Executive Software (just click Help>About). ES's marketing department has been pushing hard to make people believe that "the built-in" is inadequate so that they can sell their own software *and* make royalties from Microsoft.

Re:even if it is….the email shown earlier makes me lose all respect for them. Lets see those savings quoted for 10 PC's, that's rediculas. Run defrag as a scheduled task once a week, end users don't know a difference.

Re:I know what you mean about promotional emails – they effectively spam my Hotmail account (I only use it for signs etc anyway) every couple of weeks even after repeated attempts to unsubscribe. I wouldn't touch them or their products with a barge pole nowadays.
