Q: For an old game that has very little movement of the mouse 5 fps requires barely playable, but still annoying. Is there a mod or Quake-specific emulator speed a little?
Re:i don't have experience with any quake emulator but i did mess with DOSBox once. dud you try the ctrl+f12 to increase the speed? it may help.
Re:I was about to say: "I know dere be a gosh-darn wind32 executable flotin around dem dere intraweb".
I also have the Duke 3D Win32 executable and its the POON SON! Classics should be kept alive.
And if you ever need any more info, http://ntcompatible.com/ has a butt-load of tips and alternate programs to try out.
Re:just use GLQuake…it runs fine on most modern hardware…just don't install the 3dfx files that are meant for ummm 3dfx cards…you should only need the GLQuake.exe and opengl32.dll file to make it run fine
Re:Yeah… there's WinQuake, and also GLQuake, both are Win32 native. PM me if you have trouble finding these packages.
Re:I have an emulator, it weighs about 50lb, though. You pay shipping

Doesn't it work just fine on windows?
Not for me. The Q95 file loads up two windows and then closes them within a second.
