Q: My intel p3 700
FAmily 6
Model 8
SteppingID 3
is that a CBO or a cCO?
Re:Thanks for the help, dang, and i was hoping for a cCO..:)
Re:I have the have processor and it is most likly cB0 stepping
that was what mine was. And I get the same info as you did in wcpuid.
Re:0681 = cA2 stepping
0683 = cB0 stepping
0686 = cC0 stepping
Re:You can find all the sSpec's for P3's at:
Intel Sspec Page (http://support.intel.com/support/processors/sspec/p3p.htm)
Re:Go Here: http://www.fileflash.com/index.asp?action=info&program=686
Run it, it will tell you directly the stepping.
Re:Oops… I stand corrected.
Re:I have a Pentium III 933 cB0 and with WCPUID I get:
VendorID: GenuineIntel
Type ID: 0
FamilyID: 6
ModelID: 8
SteppingID: 3
It is definitely a cB0 (I bought it before the cC0's were even available).
Re:It's most likely cC0.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the pattern:
SteppingID 1 = cA2
" " 2 = cB0
" " 3 = cC0
