Firefox keeps forgetting who I am! [yahoo login] [hav]

Q: Ok,

Ive use Firefox since it came out, and I have a big complaint.

It seems to keep forgetting who I am on some sites even if I choose the “Remember me” or a similar option. The one that really bugs me is that my.yahoo.com is my homepage. It is extremely annoying to start Firefox, start typing in a URL, only to ask for the login box yahoo skip halfway through the address to have.

It is a good thing that I have not this problem with the AT forums or I would have dumped FireFox already. :) I am missing a setting somewhere

Am? Can this be resolved? Is anyone else with this problem?

TIA

Best Answer: Use Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up Task Manager. Go to the Processes tab, find "firefox.exe", click it, and click the "End Process" button. Click ok.

Once "firefox.exe" disappears from the process list, you should be able to start Firefox.

Re:One last attempt, then I don't know what to say (although you could always try the Mozillazine forums).

Under Options->Privacy->Cookies, click on "Exceptions". Are your sites listed there for some reason?

Re:Try the forums at Mozillazine (http://forums.mozillazine.org/)

Search thru there.

More then likely somebody else already had your problem and has had it resolved. So that way you can find your answer quickly and without trying to get people to repeat themselves.

If it is indeed new, ask for some help. Usually places like that delevopers or at least extremely Mozilla-knowledgable people are going to be there time to time to keep a look out for new problems and trends.

Any thoughts?

Re:I will check that when I get home.

However, as I said…. It only has problems with select sites. Yahoo gives me grief, but AT is fine.

I don't have that problem… do you have cookies enabled?

Or have them enabled "for the current session only"?
