I hate downloading all CDs every time. Ive been the first this time, but thought I would ask is how to do this before downloading anymore

What does it show on the other screens ctrl+alt+F2, ctrl+alt+F3, etc

Re:ok found a mirror but when i type it all in, it accepts it but hangs there for a second and then spits out a bunch of grabled text

tried mulitple mirrors and ways of typing in the path

Re:yep, get the first CD and when you boot, at the prompt use "linux askmethod" otherwise it assumes you want to do a CD install, since you start with the first CD.

With redhat 7-9 you could get floppy images. I haven't looked to see if they are still availible with fedora.

Re:Fedora supports a graphical FTP or HTTP install. I've never done it myself and it's been a while since I tried Core 1, but you should just need the first disc to boot from and go from there.
Someone please verify this for him.
