Q: I am currently using Coppermine Photo Gallery, and so far gets the job. Buuuuuut, I have a few pictures from New Years Eve I want to share with a select few, but can not share with others. Theres a ton of pictures so I can not all e-mail them all, so a kind of gallery software would be best, but there is something that you can optionally password protect specific folders or something? Is there a better gallery software? I have used before and found Gallery Coppermine better, and I think I tried, but before 4Images did not like too either. I miss something? Thanks!
Re:Bump as I'm interested too.
Re:I do know of the private galleries / groups. But I have to give permission of a user to those. I could make a special group or user with just access to that gallerie, and then pass around the login and password for that user, but that seems like a bit of a kludge. If there was an option where I could just set a certain gallery to require a password, that'd be great. Is there any other gallery software out there that might do this?
Re:According to the site (http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/) you can have private galleries/groups.
