Q: get a blank video signal, while using my computer.
I m running the latest drivers from Nvidia denenator. I have Windows XP. Any idea?
Re:If safe mode works, it's a case of bad drivers.

Re:Could you elaborate further on your problem? I was getting blank screens a few times a week on my 2yo Sony monitor with an nVIDIA card. After a few weeks, the monitor died.

Re:Double check screensaver.
Double check power-saving features — on monitor and within Windows.
Replace computer to monitor cable.
If problem persists replace video card.
