Q: Kyro II or GeForce 2 GTS?
I Do not Care MUCH ABOUT QUALITY I WANT frame rates.
Best Answer: That's pretty good for the specs. You want the good video (it's gota pretty godo one). 4G RAM, etc.

Re:How fast do you need one? According to rumor (http://{$MySite}/messageview.cfm?catid=27&threadid=525705) we might just see the ATI R200 on tuesday, granted the drivers might blow…..But if ya feel like waiting a week or two…
EDIT: or if not, then i agree with guy, get the Radeon (if your lucky you might get an "SE")
Re:<< I DON'T CARE MUCH ABOUT FRAMERATES I WANT QUALITY. >>
Then you need a Radeon
Re:<< [i]I have two geforce 2 gts's also had a geforce 2 mx. On my new system I just put together I have a gainward geforce III powerpack. In my opinion geforce cards rock. The Kyro has some great new technology but doesnt support T&L but is priced reasonable well. But the geforce drives are so far advanced that they work on all OS's and work with pretty much all the games I play flawlessly. If you want a card in the 100-200 price range I would go for a geforce 2 gts Pro with 64mbs of ddr memory. And a geforce ultra if you are going into the 200 plus range. And if your willing to spend 300 I would get the geforce three. Combat Flight sim never look so good at 1280×1024 32 bit color with 4x antilaising turn on. Anyway newegg.com online store has some good deals on geforce card just depends what you features you want. definitely get the fast memory avialable. So you can overclock the card and squeeze every bit of framrates out of them. So read the review that are out there on the cards and then make your choice on how much greenbacks you want to let go. Also if you need detonator drivers for your card when you get them go to my site I have a driver link page and a link to my ftp server.
I've used nothing but nvidia cards since the tnt came out. Hopefully this helped you a little in your choice. Happy hunting. Late.
Wow thanks, what a great response.

Re:ok, I guess I'll go with kyro II
Re:Yeah, I would have to go with Kyro2 for image quality.
Re:Kyro2
Guys…he said quality, not framerate. The Kyro2 is very fast too, about as fast (and often times much faster) than the GTS.
Re:if your comp 1Ghz + i would go kyro II
especially since you said QUALITY
KII has much better 2d quality and better 3 d image quality though it falls short of the radeon in these departments
also RADEON 2 benches this tuesday Anand Rules
