Q: Hi,
I was closing a program not responding and I clicked something. I dont know what it is. Now when I press CTRL + ALT + DEL I get the normal windows, except that there are no menus on the top bar. I mean the bar to the file menu. Im using Windows XP Pro

Best Answer: It sounds like there may be virus involved. Are you able to start the computer in Safe Mode with the Administrator account?
(To restart in Safe Mode, press and hold the F8 key as the computer first starts, before the Windows logo appears… the computer may beep, but ignore it. By default, the password for Administrator in Windows XP is blank, but your system administrator may have set a password, if so, that's where you should turn for help.)
Re:Maybe to keep others using your puter from messing with stuff, as long as they didnt know how to restore it.

Re:Im seeing only the applications running i cant switch between the app, or process or the graphs. The tabs are just not there.
