Q: I have 4 PCs connected to a Netgear Firewall (FR114P) and from there to the modem. Everything was OK until this morning that suddenly stopped getting two PCs to connect to the web. Both the IP address of the Firewall gets, but unable to assume the Internet, I reset the firewall, and released and renewed several times, even reboot but still no connection.
I changed ports on the router, I even connected them to the port that my PC is conneted, but still nothing.
I m running WIN XP SP2 with all my PCs, Zonalab Firewall (not Windows), routers DHCP, so nothing special, and I did not install anything new either.
It looks like a DNS issue, but I can not find out, because I tried to assign that as well, and what not again and happy new connection.
Best Year.

Re:Thanks Osage, same for you too. Jack, thank for the suggestions, I did not need to do anything, it was my DSL modem that somehow got screw up. Called BS, they sent a tech, he changed the modem and issue fixed.
I can't figure it out why I would be able to access the net and the rest of the network did not connected at all, even tho they were getting a valid IP address.
Thanks again
Best regards

Re:I would try to uninstall and ZA and make sure that No procccess that involved it stayed behind.
If it does not help you might need to take the following "Long Road".
In General, you can debug the Network Settings of a computer by following these steps.
Step One. Check the Network parameters in the Computer?s Device Manager. Make sure that the Network Card drivers are installed correctly; i.e. there is No IRQ conflict, and No Ghost installation. http://www.ezlan.net/faq#ghost
Step Two. Verify Basic network setting in the OS: http://www.ezlan.net/Installing#verify If the above two Steps indicates that every thing looks good but functionally it does not work.
Step Three. Check (and repair if necessary) the Socket Layers, Winsock, and or refresh the TCP/IP Stack. http://www.ezlan.net/clean#refreshnet
If need to Reinstall; Log to this page it have a lot of links to instructions for Windows Network Installation -http://www.ezlan.net/Installing.html
