Q. Ten years ago this week we were in the middle of shipping the registered version of Rise of the Triad. In fact, this Thursday marks the actual 10-year anniversary of the completion of the first recorded version of the game (v1.2). To mark this anniversary, we release the “Rise of the Triad Goodies Pack.

oh, so they ARE still alive down there
I think that this is a thinly-veiled ploy from the starving programmers locked in the basement, for someone to send them "goodies", aka food.

Rise of the Triad was such an awesome game! I never understood why it wasn't more popular…
Because it sucked.
No it didnt, It had a wonderful sense of humor and did many things well before its time.
Think of it as a prototype for the stuff used later in Duke3d.
Its still one of my all time favorites.
Now if i could get the sound working in Windows XP.
Hmm Since I have a ROTT CD already this is useless to me.
Though the link to WinROTT is nice, going to have to mess with that.

Re:These guys are amazing. Every time you hear from them it's like a corpse has risen from the grave, popped up, said "hi", and then retreated back to the netherworld.

Re:I can't believe they're still charging for Rise of the Triad when they've already released Duke Nukem 3D for free in PC Gamer. I remember enjoying the ROTT demo years ago, but I can't imagine playing it now.
