How can I help protect Win2000 Server?

Q: Ive already installed SP3, Server 2000 but can be tweaked in a really secure OS?

Best Answer: Upgrade your computer, start with RAM

Re:In addition to what everyone else has already said (especially glug's — I like that one) you may also want to check out the following link:

NSA's recommended security guides (http://www.nsa.gov/snac/)

There's also guides there about XP, NT, Cisco routers, and email, so it's worth checking out.

Re:Step 1: Remove network cable
Step 2: Remove keyboard
Step 3: Remove mouse
Step 4: Place computer in safe

Now your Win2K install is secure.

Re:First thing that comes to mind is to put it behind a firewall with a good ruleset for what you're doing. I know a ton of places that run them naked to the world.
