Q: The screen shows where the operating system and tells you what to boot up and starts to count down from 30 seconds.
How do I get rid of some of the selections?

Re:True. I overlooked that due to heavy inebriation. =\

If I understand the question correctly, the poster is referring to the boot screen that he/she gets before choosing to load an OS. In which case you would just edit your boot.ini file and remove the unwanted OS's. I hope this helps.
Same thing. I just provided the steps to get there and to reduce the amount of time it allows per choice.:)

Re:Use the same instructions I posted above and click on the Edit button. That will allow you to remove the different OSes.

Yeah I've already tried it that way but it just gives me an option for displaying list of operating systems for blank many of seconds. What I wanted to do was actually eliminate the operating systems that I did not to appear on the selection and keep the ones I wanted to appear.
Thanks for your help, Mike.
There should be an option somewhere on that screen that shows all OSes that have been installed and what options are given. Once again I apologize for the fact that I am stuck on an iMac and can't investigate.

Re:Right click My Computer.
Go to properties.
Advanced
Startup and Recovery
The options are in there. Good luck.
Re:Right click on my computer and go to properties. There is an option in there that allows you to make changes. I forget what it is called and I am currently stuck on a mac so I can't be more precise.
edit: I 'm talking to someone now to see if she can find what I am talking about and tell me how to get there.
