Q: Yes, I still play cstrike and I wonder how I play in a running WINDOW
im WIN2000
thanks
Re:Actually you just have to use -full
guy
Re:thanks guys… i tried the 600 X 800 mode and then decided to go back on full screen on my 15 in moniter…
it didn't work until i put "-full screen" after the original path…
it was nice to mess around with things and got it to work normally again =D
Re:Your original path should be this:
C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -game cstrike -console
Re:You can change it to whatever size you want. If you play at 800×600, use
"C:\Program Files\Half-Life\hl.exe" -game cstrike -nojoy -noipx -heigth 600 -width 800 -win -console -nointro -numericping
If you play at 1600×1200, use
"C:\Program Files\Half-Life\hl.exe" -game cstrike -nojoy -noipx -heigth 1200 -width 1600 -win -console -nointro -numericping
Your original target would be whatever directory HL was installed into. Probably either "C:\Program Files\Half-Life\hl.exe" or "C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe".
Re:i copied and pasted the command by julio… it worked until the console size is messed up
oh well the size is too small anyways
BUT NOW I LOST MY ORIGINAL PATH…DOH
can someone please tell me
thanks for that path anyways julio but im quite a dummy =(
Re:Just expanding on what moonbender said…
Go to your start menu and go to your HL shortcut, right click on it and choose properties. In the window that comes up, the target field is where you want to add the options. The line I pasted in my first post is exactly what appears in the target field of the properties of my shortcut.
Re:That, or create a shortcut and edit its properties.
Re:so you use the RUN command in the START icon right?
Re:Add -win to the command line.
Here is my complete command line:
"C:\Program Files\Half-Life\hl.exe" -game cstrike -nojoy -noipx -heigth 768 -width 1024 -win -console -nointro -numericping nocdaudio
