How do I make DOS bootable HD with XP [dos boot sector] [dos system files]

Q: I enclose empty 500MB 80GB HD with Windows XP system. I reformat and put , but how can I to add? I havent floppy drive.


Best Answer: You can add whatever programs you want (including USB recognition of drives) to BartPE http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ You just have to start with XP SP2 or 3.

Aren't you going to be sysing it with XP versions of command.com and stuff? Not going to work when you start trying to run the programs included with the actual DOS he installed.

Re:Boot off a DOS boot disk from here (http://www.bootdisk.com), and then do a sys c: on the drive you want to make bootable. Make sure it's modifying the proper drive by doing a dir C: first.
