Q: I want to upgrade to the new version 2.1 for Windows. But I no longer have the other files to install for 2.0. This means that Windows can not remove before me. The 2.1 to 2.0 must be installed to remove and can not do without the files to install. : P
I such as OpenOffice, but this is just a pain. I do not want to have to keep around the installation files so I can remove it later. I do not know where to get either the 2.0 install. It does not seem to be on their website.
Re:Didn't work. I just removed my old OPenOffice folder and am now going through the registry wiping out any trace of OPenOffice 2.0. There are about 500 entries
Re:Just ran into the same problem today…what a pain. Fortunatly, I was able to find a 2.0.2 download and I'm getting ti now. Hopefully it will let me uninstall my old version…
Re:They really need to make it more friendly to uninstall. It just reports the version 2.0. So I get v2.0, didn't work. Tried 2.0.4, didn't work. Now getting 2.1.rc1…
