How many FPS are The Simpsons? [dell axim] [new dell]

Q: I am trying to rip my Simpsons DVD so I can play on my Axim.

Whenever I try to rip, the sound is well out of sync. Im doing the tears on my laptop with 2.0 GHz processor and 2 gigs of ram. Laptop HD 60GB on 7200RPM.

What FPS should I choose when ripping? 24? 30?

What program I might use other than # 1 DVD Ripper.

Re:There was a box that I just checked in a buried menu for "sync audio and video" It seems to do the trick. Im encoding right now :)

Re:Depends if it's encoded in NTSC region 1 thein it should be 30 fps, while 25 fps for PAL used in region 2

I use DVDShrik to rip it just cause its easy then DVD2AVI to get raw avi then VirtualDub to encode it to DIVX or whatever :) havent had a prob yet…its not a FPS what they are in though that affects the audio its the FPS YOU recorded it in that affects the audio stream and its timing…

When I play the ripped file off my HD everything is still messed up.
