Q: Does anyone play WoW on a laptop like mine? Im just wondering how it will run if I buy it .
It is a HP NC6000. It has 1GB of RAM, a Radeon Mobility 9600 64MB, and a Pentium-M 1.6. The native res on the screen is 1400×1040, 1024×768, but looks fine in games like Morrowind. I have a Dell 2005fpw, but I can also run in 1280×768 or what if I (I run HL2 at this res) 0.

Best Answer: Your GFX isnt crazy, but WoW is an old game… I'd expect pretty much all high would be completely playable at a minimum of 60 fps constant
****, sorry man – I misread your GFx card entirely. A mobility 4200 will run it, but dont expect much out of it. All low should fly, maybe some medium settings. Really though, its WoW… Your not playing it for eye candy. A mobility 4200 is not the greatest card, but it should do fine.
Since I doubt you even looked this over, here's all I can say:
last time I ran WoW, I was on a 9800 Pro which was capable of maxing everything with 30-40fps. Passmark scores you at about 108 vs a 9800 Pro's 326.
For that reason, I'd have to say low settings you'd get 80+ fps, med 40 range, high 15-20 range.
Seriously tho man, I've looked at your question history, and your not going to get intricate details about running a old game like WoW. Hopefully my answer will now solve it – you've got to remember, WoW's been so easy to run no ones ever bothered benchmarking it seriously.

and i run at 16??x10?? i do turn the effects down alittle and no AA or AF but it
runs ok except around ironforge it gets pretty bad
that 1GB should probably do the trick though

I have a Pentium M 1.6 with 512MB of ram and MObility 9000. It runs about at 25FPS if I use the unofficial radeon drivers packages for laptops.
