Q: I am looking for a way to signal that goes to my speakers and the microphone signal at the same time to incorporate.
I currently playing CS: S with my clan and we would like to be able to go back to analyze our performance. We use the VOIP program Ventrilo to communicate during matches. It works great and can record our conversations, but the pictures are in one. VRF format and must be played with Ventrilo. I would like the calls are one. Wav or mp3 format, so I can have a video of the matches with the talks in ventrilo it.

Thanks guys,
I understand that there will be some preformance drop but since I run the game at 800×600 with an A64 3400+ w/ a 6800GT I don't think I will be able to notice. Since I have 1TB of HD space the performance hit will be decreased since I will use light/no compression.
When I get home from work I will try that app out.
Ewww, I can't stand playing at that low of resolution. With that cpu and video card you should try using 1024×768 or higher with all video settings on high. I get great fps at all times with my system playing CS:S online. I have a 3200+ Winchester oc'ed to 2500mhz and a Radeon x800Pro, so it should be pretty comparable.
Re:I have an AUdigy 2ZS so that will work for me. I will try and figure out how to use it. If you have any link that would be great.
The only problem is if I am not in the match I can't record it. That is why I was looking for a software solution that way anybody in the clan can do it.

If you dont mind getting a new soundcard, all Audigy soundcards are able to record any signal being played back through your speakers. It's called "What you hear", and it's awesome. Thats one reason I like creative cards, just for the recording features.
Re:Thanks man,
I will give it a go once I get home. I just hope I can record my mic and the setero signal at the same time.
Re:Audacity is free
when recording, select "stereo mix" to record output
Re:I forgot to say in my first post that I was looking for a free solution.
So do you guys know of any free solution?

Re:Total Recorder is pretty light on CPU usage, especially if you select a codec with minimal compression.

Re:Recording in real-time might take some resources though. If that causes a problem with framerates in the game, get a comp dedicated for that…
