It is actually my buddy's computer. AND, he had no choice but to reformat because his hard drive completely died….so best buy just replaced it since it was under warranty. We called Medion and they said they don't have any drivers or anything they can give him or even direct him to on the web to download. That is some crappy serivce if you ask me.

Any ways, those drivers you told me to download did not work….in fact it made the USB stop working…so we were left with even less functionality. What now?

LoL i used to work in technical support for Medion about a year ago now, and there support is awfull i used to work in correspondence (tech support on the emails). The way sh*ty Medion work is that if you are out of warranty they dont really wont to know..

I do not have access to any of their stuff now but you can source drivers either from the UK medion website or the german (if you can read it just navigate as you would on the UK website), the german site always getts drivers and updates along time before the UK site does….

Another thing that i would do is speak to the Medion Hotline and ask them to send out a CD with the drivers that you require… i say this because when i worked there i was able to do this, what they will do is send you it out in the post.. or dependandent on the size of the driver (i can remember how big they are now), they maybe able to send it via an attachment through email…

Also if memory serves me correct i do remember that alot of the drivers (especially the mobo ones) can be sourced form the msi.com.tw website …

Re:according to what I see, this system is very new, do you have a serial number for the computer?

Different story. What happened to the original drivers disk?

I would call Best Buy next.

Re:Take it back to BB and make them get them for you. They replaced the defective HD under warranty so it should have been running when you got it back. That is there problem or they can replace the computer if they could not get it to work.

Re:I can't believe you reformatted without having the drivers. That's kind of like throwing away all of your sparkplugs and not having a ride to the auto parts store. You should at least have had a list of every piece of hardware in the box.

Re:Great! That looks like it will work….i'll give it a try later. Thanks!

Re:Click on the address above and then click on pc support. Under desktops choose Advent. After that follow this list. Advent T9000 series, Advent T9×02 series, Advent T9102, Hardware, MS 7046. I think you should be able to find drivers here.

Most of the the things about this mobo seems to be written in german.

Re:You could try a search with the ethernet model number.
